All employment offers are made subject to full recruitment checks being fulfilled.  

Bank staff (zero contracted hours) will be recruited through the same procedures as permanent staff although they will not be given regular contracted hours.

Senior

To work alongside the people we support enabling them to realise their potential in line with their personal plan. 

To work as part of a team to provide a high-quality service which promotes the achievement of agreed outcomes for the people we support. 

Essential requirements of role:

  • Attainment of NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Social Care.

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in similar role/environment

  • Experience of working with people with disabilities and/or individuals with differing and sometimes complex needs.

  • Willingness to support with the development of a range of independent living skills including, food preparation and cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and to observe and record factual information. 

  • Medication administration and management experience.

  • Willingness to take part in a wide range of community-based leisure and exercise activities with the People we Support as detailed within personal plans.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours e.g. early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights (including sleep-ins).

  • Ability to provide active support in line with the on-call rota.

 

This role is a supervisory role where you will work alongside the people we support whilst mentoring and supporting the team locally, you will be required to deputise for the manager at times

Support Role

(contracted hours or zero hours)

To work alongside the people we support enabling them to realise their potential in line with their personal plan. 

To work as part of a team to provide a high-quality service which promotes the achievement of agreed outcomes for the people we support. 

Essential requirements of role:

  • Willingness to train and achieve Care Certificate.

  • Willingness to train and achieve QCF in line with regulation.

  • Willingness to support with the development of a range of independent living skills including, food preparation and cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and to observe and record factual information. 

  • Willingness to take part in a wide range of community-based leisure and exercise activities with the People we Support as detailed within personal plans.

  • Flexibility to work irregular hours e.g. early mornings, evenings, weekends and nights (including sleep-ins).
